Journal

Since Survivorman was cancelled on discovery and is only on the HD Science channel every now and then, I need something else to write about. Since we got out of school today (which means it is almost summer) I have decided to write down all my hiking adventures in a journal as I hike. So when I hike next, I will write down my adventure. When I get back I will copy them onto here. Sound Good?

Hello and Goodbye

I am sorry for there not being any posts, but with my birthday on June 3rd all of my time was packed with stuff. Well, not much of a hello but GOODBYE! I am going to the beach from June 6th (tommorow) until June 13th. So don't forget to leav comments and I will write when I am back here.

Birdies!

MOST of the coldness is over here in WV but not much rain which means birds are getting hungry. The rain forces the worms to come to the surface for air and if there isn't any rain, that means no worms. So hang up those bird feeders folks. Ha Ha, Well I discovered a sparrow's nest in my mom's pine tree and it has 4 little eggs in it. It is beside my dryer vent so the nest is made of lint and twigs. It looks very cozy! The mother bird also needs extra food for her young so now is a great time to buy some bird-seed.

Caves

Jesse and I went hiking and discovered Indian caves way out in Fairveiw. They are SWEET!!

We found a ritual stick and here is a picture. You can't tell but there is a small face engraving and one arm got broken off. We will research and take this "sacred stick" back where we found it.

Brett, Jesse, and I have made a new language called Landesee.

My hiking videos are on VHS (which was hard with my video camera.) I can then transfer it over onto a DvD and onto the COMPUTER!!!!

Hiking trip

I recently went on a hiking trip with my friend Jesse. Believe it or not but we saw actual moose tracks! We also saw what looked like a mountain lion track! We were really confused but inspired. We also filmed the entire trip, which reminds me I got all my hiking videos on VHS and now I can transfer them over onto a DVD and onto the computer, then it is watching videos time!

Tip of the month LOL

Bugs are good sources of protein but be careful which ones you eat. If the bug is brightly colored smells bad and isn't trying to escape don't eat it. (It is most likely poisonous.)
